The Savonarola Chair, crafted from hand carved walnut timber, and upholstered with a leather seat and backrest. It features a gorgeous detail of decorative faces and armrests with lion heads. Savonarola is derived from the controversial 15^th century Florentine Dominican friar Girolamo Savonarola (1452-1498), who was burned at the stake in Florence due to his outspoken prophecies and a call for Christian renewal.

Vintage condition consistent with age and use. See photos.
